3rd December 2012 – Ingestre Road Community Centre receives face lift with murals by local artist
Ingestre Road Community Centre has received a face lift with murals by Susanna Widmann of Scratchline Tattoos on Kentish Town High Street. Susanna is a Spanish illustrator who graduated from Escola d'art Llotja-Picasso in Barcelona. She has published in Spanish with Editorial Kalandraka and also has a book published with Imaginarium which was edited in several European languages.
At Ingestre Road Community Centre, Marine life murals in the children's toilets, bicycle images, gorgeously illustrated insects and other amazing prints have been created by the artist and placed around the Centre bringing it back to life.
The Community Centre is available for events, parties, community activities and we welcome everyone to come by and see the art and murals.
In January 2013, the Community Centre will be operating during the week as The Spanish Nursery and Children's Centre for Language and Culture with a Nursery and Out of School Hours Programme. Classes will also be open in Spanish Grammar, Music, Manners and Art. Consequently, Susanna, will be teaching the Art Class so we encourage parents to sign up their children quickly!
Ingestre Road Community Centre is just minutes from Tufnell Park and Gospel Oak stations.
Please help us spread the word.
